My pc just gave up on life so i threw together some parts and installed an old copy of Vista. (the only os i had to hand)

The stock IE wont even let me download chrome, the download site wont open.

Is there any other place to download chrome? or should i just try download firefox and then download chrome on that?

I would, but to do that i need to download it, and its hard enough to keep this page open on IE since 9 times out of 10 it pops up a message and then diverts me to a blank screen when i refresh no matter what i do.

Try updating IE first

EDIT: Download FireFox or Opera and download Chrome like that
