Asus MG279Q vs Samsung LS27D85KTSN

I am building a new computer and I want to know if I should wait till the end of Q2 for the Asus MG279Q 120hz IPS display to be released. In the mean time I will use my terrible samsung syncmaster monitor (http://www.cnet.com/products/samsung-syncmaster-940bw/specs/) or buy the Samsung LS27D85KTSN PLS 1440p monitor now. (http://www.cplonline.com.au/monitors/samsung-ls27d85ktsn-27-pls-led-monitor-ls27d85ktsn.html). recommendations for other monitors around the same price point are helpful.
