Upgrading from the trash I used to have

Yummychickenblue

Hello Forums!

I recently upgraded (and dusted) my machine (haven't updated my profile yet) and I took a bunch of pictures to post here.

My old specs were:

AMD A8 6600K

MSI A75MA-E35

MSI 6450

NoName PSU

New Specs are:

AMD A8 6600K

MSI A75MA-E35

EVGA GTX 750TI ACX
Silverstone Strider 500 watt 80Plus Bronze

Here are the pics I took with my PotatoCam:
This is a pic of the new parts in their boxes.

Pics of the beforehand. Look at all that dust

You've served me well. (not really)

The cable management here is pretty bad but I suppose it's ok for how little space there is

Looks so clean without that old PSU doesn't it? I wish it could stay that way but no I need to put the new one in.

So much dust down here:

Good riddance.

I actually did more dusting after taking this pic so you'll probably see that in the next few ones:

Hello there! Whats your name?
Mvwu2DR.jpg

Took me way too long to get the PSU installed. I had to take the ODD out to get it fit and then put the ODD back in.

Some pre-cable management wiring:

I'll need to clean that up:

See that monitor peeking out in the background of this one? It was there cause I had to some troubleshooting.

Pic of the old GPU:

You guys will have to deal with the potato quality pictures. Next time I upgrade I'll try to use a better camera than the on my 2nd gen iPad.

Rate my cablemanagement/dusting job below!

EDIT: My only complaint is that the PSU doesn't have an on/off switch.

Now I'm off to play some 1080P games. :D
