random people joining my teamspeak server.

imperialplanet

I was in Teamspeak with my cousin and two random people join my TS server and was asking us questions about our ISPs and botnets. So i shut down all my servers and should I be worried, its the second time it happened.

Probably scan your computer and reset Internet if you have a dynamic ip. Probably nothing but these are things you should be doing regularly anyway.

Don't know I've heard that you use one when you knock on a door.

I think it's a word that passes something. Maybe. Not sure. I need to do some in-depth research on this.

^ This is the correct answer. When you setup TeamSpeak the default is to have it listed in the public directory. TS3 Client -> Tools -> Edit Virtual Server -> if not already, click on "More" -> "Misc" Tab -> Disable "Enable reporting to server list." You do not need a password unless you want one.
