There is a wire coming from the cpu heatsink going to some prongs on the motherboard. Unplug that, and move it to another set of prongs.

Most of my fans only seem to run at about 1800rpm but my CPU fan just barely spins. Tried looking in bios to see fan control but couldn't find it. Please help me!

170F=~77C which is fine. Is the fan actually plugged in? Do other fans work on that plug? Are these temps at idle?

We'll, no. But opening simple applications like Google Chrome makes the temps go up. Besides when the temps did to up to 170 the fans didn't even decide to start. They stayed at idle. Also, my rig is a Lenovo Erazer X315.

Guys I could use some help trying to find the fans in bios the only time I see the word fan in my bios is under >System Summary

Dust the fan off and try plugging it in to another header.

First off, you don't need to post 3 times.

Secondly, unplug one fan that works for now and plug the cpu fan in there.
