Passmarks benchmark is a high FPS benchmark that doesn't really offer a very intensive challenge so it doesn't really provide a super accurate measure like 3dmark would provide

Sim Rig:  Valve Index - Acer XV273KP - 5950x - GTX 2080ti - B550 Master - 32 GB ddr4 @ 3800c14 - DG-85 - HX1200 - 360mm AIO

still stupid. a titanz should be much higher than an ordinary titan, unless sli was disabled for some reason

So aside from the excessive price charged for workstations cards - do they function perfectly for gaming? just as well as you might expect from the Titan variant of the card? or is there something missing

no - the drivers are optimized for professional applications and opengl stuff - gaming performance is not what it will be when the chip gets a geforce release.
