Custom Audio Settings for Headphones

Puffhead

Hi there, I own myself a pair of Corsair 2100's, and with that comes some (albeit, terrible) software that allows you to create custom levels for the headset.

I'm looking to have some help modifying my settings here, preferably - one setting for gaming, hearing footsteps and things like that in CSGO/DayZ, and then another profile with slightly amped-up bass for music listening.

What settings do I want to tweak, and where to achieve this?

ok , you need to change the equalizer for this ... basically it depends on how you like to listen to your audio.

the number on the bottom: 30, 60, 120 ... etc. are referring to the frequency range I believe.

therefore, if you want to have more bass, you would increase it.

the middle are for the mid sounds and the higher one are for treble.

for footsteps in game, I think that would refer more to the mid and lower parts.

for gaming, if you want to hear footsteps better, increase by a bit (3-4 dbs) the 2-4k range. It will increase the "attack" of the footstep. you will want to remove this setting for music or it will sound harsh and your ears will get tired faster.
