Hi guys.  So I recently made the leap to 4K gaming and I thought I'd document what the experience is like while I do it so other people can make more informed decisions about whether or not it is worth it yet.  Most reviews tend to focus on their typical benchmark suite games, but I intend to test a fairly wide assortment of games.

I'm compiling a spreadsheet now and while I've only put in data for Crysis 3, I'm curious if anyone has anything they'd like me to add in terms of formatting or information before I dig too deep into it.  Future updates will be every 10-20 games so I'm not uploading this everyday.

Looks good! I'd like to see how BF4 does, as it hasn't been tested yet.

My arsenal: i7-9700k Gaming Rig, an iPhone, and Stupidity.

Updated with a few more games.  So far the results are great, I'm very happy with the performance thusfar.

Keep in mind that I'm not really analyzing the data properly for minimum framerates, so any sort of framerate spike or what have you may show an excessively low min framerate.  All the framerate data is available if you want to peruse it and you'll be able to see how it tends to look.

Looks good! I'd like to see how BF4 does, as it hasn't been tested yet.

It actually did much better than I expected.  Only had to slightly reduce quality settings and it was running very well.  (I think I did like two things, other than taking off AA because I don't need it.)

Some eye candy

You should document WoW

Remember a wise man once said, "You'll most likely hear/see more bad reviews from products than good, because if they get a good product, they won't bother to write a review, and if they got a bad product, they'll complain about the product" ~ SoftenButterCream

Updated with a few more games.

Might get rid of the min framerate column.  Doesn't really indicate much useful information since I'm not really analyzing the data to remove outlier data like hitches, stutter etc.

Just FYI, your spreadsheet says ASUS then lists an Acer model ;)

Great post though :) Thanks

Guess I had the GPU on the brain lol

Posted another update.  Got rid of min framerates since it didn't offer much in the way of valuable info.
