Do you plan on doing SLI? 850W for one GTX 980(even overclocked) is a complete waste of money. Hell, 850W for two overclocked 980s is a waste. Also, which unit are you looking at?

Is 850W psu enough for this build?? Yes. A system with an i5 and 980 can also be powered on a quality ~500w unit.

and are thermaltake psu's good?? Depends on the unit

do i take them to account?? What do you mean? Should you take Thermaltake into account when buying a PSU? Sure. If the store you are buying from has a good quality PSU at the right price, then yes, you should considered it along with your other options. Of course, the only way for us to tell you if it is worth it is to know what is available to you at what price point, and as such, we need to know where you are buying from.

The Thermaltake Smart M SP-850M is a good mainstream unit. Can you provide a budget for the PSU and links to where you are able to buy from?

MSI Z97 GAMING 5

Intel Core I7-4790K

MSI GTX 980 GAMING 4G

Kingston HyperX Beast 16GB (2 X 8GB)

Corsair Graphite Series 780T

Western Digital (WD) Caviar Black 1TB

Samsung 840 EVO Series 250GB

Corsair Hydro Series H110

and is thermaltake a good choiceThermaltake Smart m850w PSU

Slightly better formatting.

500-550W is enough. If you're planning SLI then 750W would do the trick for that. 850W is fine though, overkill though, and likely over priced for what you actually need.

As for the ThermalTake Smart M 850W, it's nothing special, but isn't a bad unit. Apparently it's kinda loud though. But since you're planning on keeping the stock case fans, it's not like you're going to have a quiet system.

How much is your PSU budget? How much is the cost of the ThermalTake unit for you? We might be able to find a better and/or lower cost alternative.

Make sure to include currency, location, and if possible your preferred retailers website.

The retailer for the units above doesn't seem to have a website, though they appear to have a physical store in Cairo.

so which of these is better in terms of performance/ silence / and heat  and would be enough if i overclock

 - Thermaltake EVO Blue 2.0 850W Up To 950W 80 Plus Gold Modular (evo-850mpcgeu-a)

-  Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 850W 80 Plus Gold PSU

-Thermaltake Smart m850w PSU

-EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2 Gold PSU

-Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 850W Plus Silver PSU

and is 850w enough for the build up there??? will it be enough if i overclock??? will it be enough if i get 2 gtx 980s which is not likely to happen cause the 1000w are really expensive :D

The EVGA Supernova 850w G2 is the best out of all of them.

And yes, a 850w PSU is more than plenty for an OCed i5 and two 980s in SLI.
