kingston

Note the difference between "witch" and "which"... at least I believe that's where the broom stick remark was aimed at... ;)

Look at benchmarks/reviews. Each brand has varying lines of ssds.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

Does it weigh as much as a duck? Will it float? If so, burn it!

Otherwise it should be fine. Keep it away from hex screws tho. Temptation you know.

Sir William of Orange: Corsair 230T - Rebel Orange, 4690K, GA-97X SOC, 16gb Dom Plats 1866C9,  2 MX100 256gb, Seagate 2tb Desktop, EVGA Supernova 750-G2, Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3, DK 9008 keyboard, Pioneer BR drive. Yeah, on board graphics - deal with it!

--snip--

FYI the more confusing comments you're receiving are trying to draw your attention to the difference between witch and which.

I would throw my hat in with whichever SSD's that are 240gb/256gb in the $90-100.00 point and split hairs from there.

For what it is worth I've got 2 m500's that I am happy with, and the mx100s are pretty much the same, and the m550's are better still.

Your budget is really the deciding factor here, as there are a few vendors now offering different price/performance points for consumers.

If your rolling in money look at PCIe SSDs.  If your butler isn't taking the rolls-royce out to pick up your pizza, don't.
