GTX-760?

however, your CPU is definitely on the weak side. And why are you upgrading from a 750 ti to a 760...? Doesn't make much sense to me. I'd rather invest in a new CPU and motherboard to balance out your system.

Yes, maybe, and maybe.

Different models require different power connectors.

As far as I know, faster cards should still increase minimum and average frame rates, and minimum frame rate and drops in frame rate / inconsistent frame-rate are the biggest problem.

Look at my signature. Check my system specs.

1. Does my motherboard support GTX-760?

2. Can my power supply provide enough power?

3. Does my power supply have the right connector for it?

Thanks.

Your CPU can't push that GPU.

750ti to 760 will have improvements but not enough to warrant an upgrade, so why upgrade?

Better question is... If you say you cpu bottlenecks a your current card, then what point is there in upgrading?

Or did I miss something here?

Would it not be a better investment to get a better monitor?

Yes

Yes

No, it has the right one, but it lacks a 2nd 6 pin connector.

Anyway this is a wasted upgrade... if 750ti is bottlenecked by a E6600 @ 2.4 then a GTX760 shows no difference, it wouldn't be a worthwhile upgrade even with a good CPU.

Get a better monitor instead and save towards a modern i3.
