All USB Devices Disconnecting/Shutting Off

Ok, this has been going on for a while now, but ALL of my USB devices disconnect/shut off when I have high internet usage; I am certain it's the high internet usage that is causing it as it occurs when I'm downloading or uploading large files and when I try to use Steam in home streaming. Although it might be something else.

I am using Windows 8.1 update 1 and the rest of my specs are in my sig.

I would appreciate some assistance in resolving this issue.

Going to try the method suggested in the answer, will let you know if it fixes it

Do you still have the problem, when setting bios to default settings?

Also check your windows event log for entries caused by this problem.

Can you get a closer look on the usbehci error?

Trying to find out where to download new drivers for it but can't it's a: Belkin Surf Micro USB f7d2102az

Already have the latest USB drivers...however it does seem to be a common problem on AMD motherboards with an unupdated Southbridge chipset that's incompatible with win 8.

I couldn't find the chipset drivers for my Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 but I did find some for the Sabertooth 990FX which uses the same southbridge.

Hopefully it will fix it

 

Edit: Hmm seems they listed it under win7 rather than win8 -___-

You also can try to install the Windows 7 Drivers in Windows 8.

In general this should just work fine.

If not and something goes horribly wrong, you can always reset the driver via safe mode or a restore point.

 

You can also directly search the chipset vendor downloadcenter for your chipset driver.

Open cmd as administrator and type.

Maybe repeat it 3 times.

sfc /scannow
