WaterCooling Cpu and Gpu help!

Go to solution Solved by Faceman,

I just made some reaserch around and found out about the Corsair hg10.

Its abit more expensive than the kraken but its build in a way thats fixes the whole issue with the vrm/ram .

So yeah i will be staying on the watercooling solution for the gpu and will be going with the corsair hg10 and one of the corsair AIO coolers.

I would really like to thank you very much @Faceman for spending all this time over and over answering me , you have been very helpfull i really appreciate it.

There is no issue with the VRM/VRAM.  Look at that above chart, the HG10 is only doing 3C better temps than a G10 without heatsinks.  Both of which are in the 40s, leaving you 60C of headroom.  VRMs are not an issue.  The results they are getting are much lower than normal.  People who do the G10 mod with a reference R9 290 usually go from 100C VRM temps down to 60/70C, without heatsinks.  Adding heatsinks drops an additional 10-15C off that temperature, but even without heatsinks you are well below the danger zone.

The HG10 isn't that great an option because it is only for reference cards, and it can't be used on other cards.  While it does work for your specific R9 290, that is what you are limited to.  Say if you upgrade in a few years, you can't move the HG10 over, whereas the G10 is more universal and can be moved from one GPU to the other, and across companies.  When you buy an HG10, it is for that specific company, for that specific model.

I really cant agree more with you to put an end to all this , i think i made up my mind and i will be going with corsair hydro h75+kraken g10 and be done with it .

There is really no point in going with something other than this i think.

You will be really happy with this setup, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

You could go with the Morpheus or HG10 and you will still be happy.  I'm just trying to get you the best for your money, and the G10 is easily the best for your money when you think about performance, and transferability.

Yea,i also think going with the g10 is the best option after all.I just looked around the g10 owners club and most of the people are happy with what they have so alright its done , i finally have my answer. So, i will really like to thank you once more for helping me out like u did. I would probably had made a wrong decision if u wherent around to point me out some key factors.
