Corsair m65 Color Mod

Guest

The coating on the top of my m65 has been wearing off, so I decided to completely take off all the coating.  I took apart the mouse and sanded the whole top cover.  After that, I spray painted it blue.  Later, I am going to replace the blue LED's to red.  Here it is so far without the LED's.  Uploaded with a Note 4, ignore the keyboard cheat sheet under the mouse, I am learning DVORAK.  I will update as soon as something happens.

You'll have to wait for a mod/admin to do so.

Looks pretty sick. I would've added some logo in the middle, but that's just me :P

I might try that later after I see how the paint holds up to my schweddy palms.

It's not technically bad, but when all my things are on the internet at the same time, it really brings it down.

I took care of those other posts. It looks nice, but painting things isn't something I'd do to my peripherals anyways.

Thanks for deleting the other ones :P my mistake.  I only painted it because the grip started to peel away for some reason and I wanted to add some grip to it again.

Update:  I suck at soldering.  I checked to see if I could somehow replace the LED's without soldering, but ofc, they are soldered in place.  Guess the only thing I will be doing to make it more sexy is paint on a logo.  This sure beats what I was originally going to do to make it grippier, which was but stair gripper things on it xD

Looks good, but as for no soldering there is such thing as conductive glue, personally I don't know how well it holds up over time but it seems to give good electrical connections if you want to cut the leads long and glue them together.
