Closed cell foam for case

Go to solution Solved by W-L,

Hi, I'm looking for somewhere to buy closed cell soft foam sheets for repacking a system in a case. The case is NZXT S340; dimensions: 445x432x200mm, and it came with hard polystyrene foam and I want to repack it with a system installed so closed cell foam seems like a better choice since the weight will be almost doubled. Does anyone know where to get the foam?

Some medium density insulation foam baords will work from the hardware store or if you really want large foam blocks try Foam Factory:

So it's just insulating soft foam?

Ok thanks, I'll have a look around for some at local stores.

Just try to find extra thick sheets or double up layers since you are packing and entire system but the foam in hardware stores will tend to be a polystyrene and not the very dense sponge type foam though.
