Drone for new drone user?

Hi, I am interested in buying a drone of some sort. I like the concept of quadcopters like the parrot AR. Unfortunately I have to drone flying experience and dont want to spend 300$ on something Im going to destroy. So if you would please give me an Idea of what I should get that would be very nice. Thanks!

the more expensive drones are harder to crash, as they have 3 axis stabilisation, gps stabilisation and can sense how far they are from the ground and correct their flight path

 

Cheap dones require more skill to fly! 

 

Why not get a cheap toy drone, and see if you like it

I have a couple nicer RC helis. However, none of them cost 300$ and none of them actually have a camera.

I have this drone, it performs great, but the camera isn't the greatest. Also if you buy it watch your credit card for fraud alerts .
