Is the Razer Seiren any 'good'? By good I mean would it be better to just go buy a Blu Yeti?

I wanna know because of the Razer promotion, and I'm having a harder time deciding, since I saw a youtube video, and where the Seiren's audio quality was (not 'much') worse than the Blu Yeti's.

Or would it be better to get something else? If so, please tell me what you suggest. The blade, headphones, mouses and keyboards are out of the picture.

Thanks!! <3

Budget?

As the seiren is $180 I'll just go off that price.

I'd recommend the Audio Technica AT2020, its is an excellent mic for the price, there are multiple different versions of it too. (USB, USB+, Normal/XLR, and there may be more)

SNIP

Honestly avoide the yeti and the seiren, unless you have a very quiet environment

I would get something like the Rode podcaster, dynamic mics suffer much less from background noise

My yeti is SO sensitive, it picks up my mouse moving on the mat, people talking on the other side of the house etc, I have to record at like 3% volume

the razer siren is a rebranded yeti pro

you can pay less for a blue yeti or yeti pro and get the exact same quality

or you can get a blue snowball which is much cheaper and still extremely good, just with less features than the yeti

With the 50% off at razer it costs 90 dollars. Worth it?

well the pro usually costs $150-$250 so i would say yes

but if you dont need it then you could still get a blue snowball for cheaper

i just checked the store and its out of stock, so idk how you are going to get it for $90 if they dont have it...

Promotion has not begun yet. It is in stock, but nobody can buy it atm because they are saving the stock for the promotion.

I don't like the snowball design. Doesn't look good and doesn't feel as premium as Razer. It also has only one mode. The Seiren has 4.

Thx

Last I checked (there's a snowball on the desk behind me) it has 3 modes. cardioid, cardioid with -10dB pad and omni. Not 100% sure if two cardioid settings count as one or two modes, but even then it has at least two.

I've noticed the same thing with my Yeti Pro.  It's very sensitive in the room I use it.  It picks up the TV downstairs.  When I record stuff I turn off almost all the fans in my PC case to make it as silent as possible.

Yeah condenser mics suffer that way ,they sound amazing and are great in a studio but for home I recommend dynamic, switching to a rode procaster (or an electrovice re320 if I can afford it) soon
