Silent Fans

Hey guys

 

I recently got a  Cooler Master Seidon 240M from a friend and I have no complaints about it except that the fans that came with it are very loud. I've been meaning to replace them for some time now but I don't know what kind of fans would be best suited for this to keep it quiet. I have the rad mounted in a pull configuration on the top of my NZXT H440. My friend swears on his Corsair fans but I also heard very good things about Cooler Master and Noctua.

 

If you can give me any recommendations I'd appreciate it.

noctua and corsair both make very nice fans.

just cuz im curious, is the seidon 240m the one that ships with the new silencio fans?

Noctua fans with the included adapters.... I mean, I can barely hear a thing, and I have 5 of them sitting right next to me.

I have Cougar Vortex fans in my wife's machine, and the airflow through the mesh baffle on the front of the HAF XB produces the only noise. If I removed the front panel from the case, I have to place my ear inches away to hear the fans.

They're the PWM 140's & normally spin about 900 RPM.

Scythe Gentle Typhoons if you can find them. I have the AP-14 versions myself.

No they come with the Nepton I believe.
