Dr. Moose

Hi, I'm not very familiar to the world of rooting and flashing, but I realllly want CM12 for my OPO. Are there any downsides to rooting and flashing?

Isn't it already rooted? Wasn't that the point of the phone?

Luckily OnePlus won't void warranty for rooting, so other than that will I loose performance of any sort?

It isn't rooted, it's made to be easy to root and your warranty won't be voided if you do. It just comes with Cyanogenmod out of the box.

No, It won't affect performance unless you tell it to through a root-required app.

It's worth rooting it I  use a rooted oneplus one with Alpha lollipop
