Project Dollar Help

As I ship my old parts away I need to start thinking of my new AMD build...

I'll make a build log for this once I start ordering the parts. I need this for 1440p-4k gaming and im starting to get into rendering and programming. You might say why no Intel or NVIDIA?I'm a AMD fanboy.

So I will not execept a Intel/NVIDIA build...

So is the build below worth it?The reason I didn't go with a 295X2 was simply because you can't add a water block later on.

Also don't criticize me on the PSU..I only care about the johnnyguru reveiw.

The watercooling parts because I already have them. Just need to find the AMD bracket for the CPU block...

Just a reminder that your CPU is a bottleneck

However since you are adamant on AMD get the AMD SSD's. They are good

RIG: I7-4790k @ 4.5GHz | MSI Z97S SLI Plus | 12GB Geil Dragon RAM 1333MHz | Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970 (1550MHz core/7800MHz memory) @ +18mV(Maxed out at 1650/7800 so far) | Corsair RM750 | Samsung 840 EVO 120GB, 1TB Seagate Barracuda | Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 (Closed) | Sound Blaster Z                                                                                                                        Getting: Noctua NH-D15 | Possible 250GB Samsung 850 Evo                                                                                        Need a console killer that actually shits on every console? Here you go (No MIR/Promo)

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

Just dont get that CPU its ridiculous... Fanboy-ism can go too far you know. AM3+ is such an outdated platform it just does not belong in a high end build like this.

Core i7 4820K  |  NH-D14 | Rampage IV Extreme | Asus R9 280X DC2T | 8GB G.Skill TridentX | 120GB Samsung 840 | NZXT H440  |  Be quiet! Dark Power Pro 10 650W

You know you can get waterblocks for the 295x2, plus if you really want an AMD build then the AMD SSDs would go really well with it.

Don't think that 9370 is a bottleneck seen plenty of videos showing GPU load under 100% and everything running even better than on i7's, some people claim that it does bottleneck.... I don't even know anymore.

Read the links in my sig to see proof that it bottleneck (8320 @ 4.4/4.7 = 9370)

Well I'm sorry but I trust Jay more :D I will read your post tho

For 4k gaming and rendering the 4790k, or 5820k KILL the 9370.

Are you telling us that you got this sold?

You had an X99 build with a 5930x and 2x980s and you sold it for a 9590 and 290X build? Why did you even have that build in the first place? If you're so against Intel and Nvidia?

something smells a bit fishy....

So after first going a overkill build you directly step in another overkill build seriously what is wrong with you. Either you are full of shit and just keep us busy with your dream builds or you are just dum and don't wanna listen and waste money which is fine but instead of wasting it on PC's share it with the poor. Also just get a 4690k, Z97 board, GTX970, 8/16 Gb RAM, 550 or 750 Watt PSU depending on future upgrades, SSD+HDD and a nice case and go with it.
