Best 970?

I'm planning on buying a 970 but  I don't know which one I should buy. Please explain why one card is better than the other. Thanks!

MSI Twin Frozer - Looks cool and runs cool

 

ASUS STRIX - looks BALLER and i believe is a good overclocker

If you are looking for a good overclockable and silent card get the Gigabyte Windforce if you plan on watercooling and overclocking get the EVGA if you want an allround dead silent card get the Asus strix. And the Msi is just a card that is almost as good as the Asus. If you want the thes best of the best get the Galax HOF editon.

Windforce has an annoying sound signature imo (high pitchy). I'd suggest the MSI Gaming 4G

best 970 for the money is the evga acx 2.0 sc, no doubt. super nice cooling unit, good factory oc and really good looking.

There is a new version of the EVGA SSC. Which incorporates improved cooling design. 

 

I'd get that over the standard SC, but it might cost a bit more.

Not really Windforce and MSI gaming sound about the same difference being Windforce has a backplate and will OC and cool better.

I was refering to exactly that video... do you not hear the whine in the windforce sound, i know that the overall noise level is about the same its just a different noise. And btw the test that this video is from concluded that the MSI is the best geforce out there in terms of temps, coil whine and noise...

Last week i bought a gtx 970 strix, the card is awsome. He is almost silent its crazy, no coil whine...even when i play battlefield 4 ( on ultra) for a few hours you dont here the thing.

So if you want a silent card buy the strix
