It's fine. Bill Gates doesn't deserve money after what I learned, all he did was buy a OS from someone else for cheap and resell it.

Having a fake OS is bad of course its probably full of viruses and malware. Having an unlimited trail on the other hand. That's a question you should ask yourself.

My key over the years has stopped working, so I've gone to just cracking windows as I don't have the money to buy a new key, and have had no problem with it so far.

(Not sure if it would be considered piracy or not as I do own a copy of windows, they key just doesn't work anymore)

Regardless if you think someone has made enough money from their product does not matter, as long as they are not doing something blatantly anti consumer it's immoral to tell someone it's fine to pirate.

You can get the original iso from microsoft themselves and just not activate it.

Or use the windows 10 preview till it ens

Or buy a cheap key on like g2a.com/ ebay.

 

These methods will all work but if you don't activate it you get a annoying notification but you can live with that.

You can quite easily get a pirated and cracked version of an os with no observable difference,

I have done so in the past. The only thing that should concern you is the moral question,

would you be OK with other people using your intellectual property without paying you for it.
