CPU Spiking to 100?

Hi there!

 

Whenever I play certain games such as Assassins Creed Unity or even League of Legends, my CPU (Intel Core i5 4670k Not Overclocked) cores spike up to 100. I was wondering what should I do to fix this? I'm not sure if having dual monitors has anything to do with it as well because it started happening before I got them.

Here are my specs:

 

Intel Core i5 4670k

Stock Cooler

MSI Z87 G41 Mate

MSI GTX 770 NF 2GB

Corsair 850AX PSU

Switching coolers will not fix your problem.
