I am looking to get a DSLR for mainly taking photos. I was wondering if this refurbished T4i would any good for a beginner DSLR?

If you have any other suggestions for a beginner DSLR, my budget is around $500 - $600CAD.

That is a VERY good price for that camera, I would recommend it.

It's pretty much the same as a t5i and much cheaper.
