can anyone give me the names of some GPU stress test/benchmarking. im trying to see what my gtx680 is hitting as far as power target for overclocking

I like Heaven. 3D Mark 11 is good if you have the Pro edition. I'd say stay away from Furmark as it's unrealistic.

3DMark Vantage or 11 are very good for benchmarking since like everyone uses it. But for stress testing if you do use Furmark you can be sure your card is rock solid as it will push your card to its absolute max, putting temps about 10*C above what any game can do.

the best benchmark (for me at least) is HEAVEN (3.0 at this time)

download it from here FREE (yes, is free) and compare results

my numbers are (for example) whit a 7850 OC to 1250mhz on memory and 1050mhz on core

Heaven 3.0 - Tessellation Extreame - AA8 - AF16 - Shaders High - 1365x768 win

FPS "43.4" (min 18.2) (max 109.0) - Scores "1094"

  • AMD 7850 - 2GB GDDR5 256bits
  • gBANDWIDTH = 170.2 GB/s
  • gSHADERS = 1024 unified
  • gCPUoc = 1050 mhz
  • gMEMoc = 1330 mhz (x4)
  • gPIXELfillrate = 33.6 GP/s
  • gTEXTUREfillrate = 67.2 GT/s
