Hello forums! I'm Nickorator. (Pronounced Nick-er-ayter lol. So many people say it wrong) Not too sure how to start out introducing myself. Well first of all my name is Nick in case you haven't guessed. I've been on a few forums before and never really did a "hello" post. I guess there's a first time for everything.

 

Since this is of course a tech forum, I guess I should talk about my history as far as tech goes.

I've been using/playing games on a PC since I was a toddler. My dad works for a tech company and has always known his stuff. Since I was little I've been playing racing games and learning my way around Windows. I'm 17 now, and I just recently built my first PC (The only one I've owned that's not a crapbox) about 4 months ago. It was a truly awesome experience and I'm really glad I made the choice to do it. Since then I've gotten myself a full blown PC gaming setup and a nicely stocked Steam library. I can only wish I had discovered this sooner. To be honest, I've only really been part of the online tech community for a little over a year. However I've learned a lot myself, and after hundreds of hours of YouTube videos I've somewhat educated myself about this wonderful world of technology. I hope to be an expert about this kind of stuff someday.

 

I plan to stick around for a while and get to know even more, and hopefully build another PC in the future. Maybe even learn some coding. Like I said, I've been constantly around tech my whole life. I've grown very familiar with how things work and now that I know a lot more about what I'm doing, this seemed like an awesome forum to join. I've been watching Linus for about 8 months now and all the videos are very intriguing. I've never really been good with words but I really hope I can make some friends and find a home on this forum. Just after looking through some topics and threads I can see a ton already going on here. I'm extremely excited to be a part of this community.

 

Just in case it sparks any connections or interests, in my free time I enjoy listening to EDM and working on my YouTube channel. As I have read the CoC, I guess I should stop there about the YouTube thing lol. But yeh. Freaking love EDM. My favorite labels are Monstercat and Firepower Recs. I also have a 1 and a half year old Golden Retriever named Toby who has been such a pleasure to have. And last but not least I live in good old 'Murica. I guess that's just a little bit about me. Congratz if you're still reading lol. Hope to see you all around the forums in the future!

Thanks :D I was sure the read the CoC as one of the first things I did on the forum. I tend to read just about everything I see lol. Gonna go change to night theme now!
