I have Win 8.1 Pro 64bit installed on my new PC. Somehow, when I was transferring all my files over the directory got a little messed up. I wound up with multiple "Documents" folders all pointing to the same location, some folders changed their icon/name (the default "Music" folder now shows up as a "Documents" folder), the default "Pictures" folder disappeared entirely (I think it got re-labeled as the entire E: drive somehow), and the directory on the left side when you go to "This PC" is kinda jumbled. Not sure what happened or how I screwed up. I know that the "Refresh" option allows you to keep all your documents while resetting Windows, but does it reset all the directories to their defaults, or will I have the same jumbled mess if I do a refresh? Let me know if that question isn't clear.

@LabRat @tmlhalo You guys have already been a ton of help on the other issue. I want to make sure that my directories are all squared away for when I get my new drives and clone them over. Thanks!

Was this copy pasting transferring or software (what was the name of the software if so)? C and D are the WD black ^ 2 drive still right? E and G are separate drive(s) or just external devices?

I tried going into Properties and it didn't even have the option for changing the image. Also, all three documents folders see to go to the exact same location. The other weird thing is that if I open what it supposed to be the Music folder it doesn't even have any music in it, just some documents folders and system files. Now that I think about it, I think it's the result of my screwed up WD external HDD that crashed on me once before. @tmlhalo Some of it was copy and paste, but I initially used WD's transfer software and I'm thinking that's where everything got screwed up. I just got off the phone with Microsoft support and they sad that the only easy way to reset the directory to it's defaults and fix this issue is to use the System Reset. I guess the System Refresh doesn't reset the directory. I just backed up my computer on a different external HDD last night, so I think I'm just going to do a reset and then manually copy the files I want over so that WD doesn't screw it up again. That way I wont rip my hair out trying to fix it the long way. Lol. Anybody got suggestions before I pull the trigger?

Ok. I see that now, but what about fixing all the other issues with the directory? Any suggestions aside from a system reset?
