How good (or bad) are AMD APU for things such as compiling code and light video editing. I will not be gaming at all. I currently have an i5-3570k but want to shrink my rig down, but am having a hard time finding good Z77 matx or mitx mobos, and not enough cashfor a Z79 setup. So will I basically be going back to the stone age if I get an AMD APU for these tasks? Or will I not notice a difference at all?

Thanks!

P.S. I am well aware it will probably be a significant downgrade, in which case I won't do it, but would like to hear experiences and opinions first.
