Hey I'm looking for the best pair of headphones for pc gaming under $200.

I'd have to say the Kingston Hyper X Cloud.  Most others are just awful, I've owned too many, poor build quality, worse sound quality.  Logitech G430s sound alright, but you should not get them due to the terrible build quality.

Depends, if you live in a loud environment go for a pair of closed cans, but if you're in a quiet environment go looking for open headphones.

Don't listen to anyone who says razor or anything with a mic attached. Do research on some good quality mics like the blue yeti and spend the rest on a headphone like these.

If you REALLY want a headset instead the only one I can recommend is the Sennheiser PC 350

So my opinion is the exact same is tek syndicates. Soundstage over bass for gaming. Bass helps yeah but bad quality bass will only ruin the feel of the experience and in the end not help as much.

Just throw the "cans" in a fire. Serious. When you own a razor keyboard, your opinion on peripherals loses value. It's like someone who prefers stock mac and says they have an opinion on customizability. Yeah.

I would never pay the ridiculous $300 price tag, but they go on sale from time time. I bought mine for $!20. Anyway its Sennheisers G4ME series of "gaming Headsets", Pretty good sound and really good mic, look at the reviews they are all highly praised.

Get a nice pair of headphones with a external microphone. Something that'll last you, and not break in 3 months.

I'm in the UK I just saw Amazon.com advertise them for $162 on Amazon warehouse deals slightly used. The exchange rate makes them cheaper for me if I purchase in the US and bring them back with me.
