Ive noticed on my old laptop witch had 6 Gigs of Ram I would use about 3Gigs running Google Chrome. Also keep in mind of all the software that likes to run in the background. If you have chrome installed I bet its the one using most of your ram.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

When I go into the task manager resource tab, close all the chrome parts, but there is nothing running at more than 10K resources, but many are just random names that look like jumbles of letters and things I have never heard of. Is this an effect of only having a single stick of ram?
