What is the cheapest a CPU loop would cost? [Custom loop]

Go to solution Solved by ilikemacandpc,

Something like an H220X will be $100-150, and it's a great cheap start to a custom loop

He does want a GPU upgrade in the future, so a AIO wouldn't be a great idea!

Any kit suggestions?

Then look at that expandable one by Swiftech. It leaves that particular avenue open while not costing a ridiculous amount up front.

As mentioned above, the Swiftech H220X is a good starting point. It's an expandable AIO.

swiftech h220x, kraken x61, corsair h110. But don't go for low AIO cooling. It's typically crap performance per dollar when compared to air coolers of the same caliber.

You could buy a kit with everything you need for probably $150 from like XSPC. Some EK kits might run you some more cash but would probably be better. I would say $150 minimum for a decent kit for just a CPU loop.
