Newegg Shipment

Alright guys I finally got the money together for my system and its on the way. You have no idea how bloody scared I am of screwing it up. ANYWAYS, I ordered it on Wednesday at around 3 pm and according to Newegg it shipped out today at 10:03 AM. I live in Northern Cali, about 420 miles (6 hours - 7 hours driving time about) from City of Industry where newegg is. For my shipping I chose that free ShopRunner 2-day. Do you guys think it will show up tomorrow? In my past experience they drive overnight (at least in the case with my iPhone) but I am still questioning it. Have you guys ordered from Newegg w/ 2-day and live near or around Cali? What are your experiences?

First off, don't panic. Make sure you have some tools, then make a roomy spot to put it together, some anti-static mats if you don't have any already. Second, take a ton of pics for us to see, then start assembling. Have fun!

ive had 10-12 orders from newegg and everyone was exactly on time. but you never know. Since you got the shoprunner if by any chance it is not on time call them and you could prob get a free month.

Did they give you a tracking number? The UPS site usually tells what day you will get the package.

I live a couple hours away from City of Industry so I get my stuff in 1 or 2 days usually.

Postage can be very temperamental. (Not neweggs postage directly, any postage)

But like someone else said, if you ordered a 2-day deleivery and it came on the 3rd you could get a voucher.

Is fine. Don't worry about shipping. There's nothing you could do if it was a day late so don't worry. Also for building for computer I would recommend a room with a lot of space. Also a room with no carpeting if good to. Oh and you don't need an anti-static wristband if you think you do. Just touch something large and metal, like a PC case. Or something small and metal that's grounded, like a faucet.

Actually the most convenient thing to touch is your power supply. Assuming the cable is plugged into the socket.

I have ordered stuff form newegg since 2002 and I order something about every 2 weeks for the past 10 years. If it shipped out today it will either arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday. UPS does not Deliver on the weekend's. Newegg has never done me wrong and is a very good company to order PC parts from. I have ordered next-day, 2 day and 3day shipping from them most all through UPS,a few have been from FedEx and personally I like FedEx better but that is only because FedEx delivers in the Mourning in my neighborhood. UPS delivers around 4PM in my neighborhood

Last time I ordered from NewEgg, it look a week for my package to travel from TN to MO -_-.
