Could I run Far Cry 3?

I'm considering buying Far cry 3 on the sale, but I don't know if my PC can run it, Ihave a g3258 ( Stock speed ) an 2gb r9 270x & an 128gb Kingston SSD.

If I can run it, what settings could I run it at? ( Monitor is 900x1600 )

You'll probably be fine. 900x1600? Surely you mean 1600x900, because what you're suggesting is portrait.

 

EDIT: I just looked at the recommended requirements you're quite far above them.

I think your PC can run it, and maybe even on the highest settings, considering your low resolution. I'd say try the game out and tweak it until you are satisfied with the performance you're getting.

I play Far Cry 3 on Pentium D 820 2.8ghz and 3gb ram, and gt9500 on low settings 720p... If i could run it on that, you are good whit that config

for gpu yes i have a HD4850 atm and it runs far cry properly

No problem so long as you have a GPU no older than 8 years.

My console pc is g3258 with 750 ti. I also tried it with a gtx 460 in that rig (prior to getting the 750). Game runs without issues on 1080p with either card. You'll be fine.

Edit: forgot to say I ran benches on stock cpu speed didn't drop below 50.
