HELP! pc won't post, stuck on splash screen after failed over clock :(

Help me guys, was doing some overclocking to test out my new loop and I diled in 4.6ghz at 1.3 vlots only 2 setting I changed on my i7 4770k using an Asus maximums 6 gene z87 motherboard after a bulk screen druin boot it restarted and was stuck on splash screen, cant enter bios or do anything, have tried cmos reset button and taking the battery out for 10 minutes for hard reset and still the same issue, I have diled on this setting and others many times before and never had this happen...

What else can I try or is it possible iv damaged something?

Check the cables and I don't know try to clear the cmos again or unplug the PSU and keep pressing the power button for a while.

Unplug it from the wall and monitor, remove cmos, wait a few minutes, press the power button, cmos back in, try booting the computer.

You may have damaged something.

Do like the others say, unplug the pc from everything,clear the cmos again.

Thanks for the replys, have tried again after doing as you've said even let it sit for a good 20 mins still the same thing

Probably something went wrong...

Can you rebuild the pc outside of the case?

Maybe the motherboard broke, check if the back has burn marks

Will give that a go tonight and see what happens, hopefully if anything is busted it's the motherboard rather then the CPU

Just tried built out of the case, exact same thing, picked up an Asus z97m plus to test the CPU In, won't even display anything on screen, ill have a bit more of a tinker but it's looking like iv killed my 4770k isn't it?
