Hello, everyone.

So, wanted to show you guys my 2nd pc.- first one was made some 8 years ago. And recently i got nostalgic how i had saved up my money and built it from ground up. And so i saved some again and did it all over again. The feeling of putting together a brand new pc is just one of the best. :)

This build has cost me so far 1500 euros ( some 1 800 dollars). Probably for you in Canada/US it would be cheaper to get these parts :) Name for the PC  is "Zvers", in english it would be Animal, in honor of my late chinchilla who loved to eat my cables and wires.

And this is what i chose to put in it:

M5A99X EVO R2 board. Has SLI/Crossfire support (wanted to be able to swap if on later date Mantle gets big) Also, has nice features, plenty of usb 3, sata and etc.

CPU is amd FX8320, because it was cheap and easy to OC and still plenty fast. Also for render jobs i have from time to time - 8 cores will be the way to go. To cool it i got H105 which gave me headaches because it didn't want to be fed by CPU pins  - it didnt eve want to boot up. Turns out you need to use ones reserved for fans.

GTX 970 from MSI. Fucks up my blue color scheme with its red, but is probably the best card Money/ performance for people who want to max out everything they play for now and time to come. Since i bought Benq GL2460, i should be fine for some years before 144p gets cheap.

Corsai Vengance 2x4gb 1886 RAM, since its just overall good.

Samsun 840 evo 250gb is what keeps all my stuff for now.

PSU is Forton  FSP700 700w. Well this one is going away soon probably. Going for something better known :)

What else...well few 120 arctic fans in Corsair 550D case (didnt like default ones with only 3pins).. I wanted 750D but then i had to wait forever to get it here (im from Latvia).

For sound im running for some 7 years now Logitech Z2300 2.1 speakers. Still good. Like my MX 518 mouse :)

So yea, thank you and Linus tips, for helping me to chose some of the parts (Case and H105 i got after your reviews)

Attached some pictures i took along the way.

Building from the ground up is a great feeling. Also chinchillas are silly, my friend use to have one.

it will hold up because games will be / are developed for 8 cores

some old engines just wont use it

its still slow on fpu compute

i think the latest bench on russian website posted not a long time on this forum proves that.
