Go to solution Solved by kameshss,

Clone an OSX drive in Windows 7

HDClone, EaseUS Disk Copy and CloneZilla.

Any of these thing will work  :)

I'll be connecting both the HDD and the SSD to my desktop running Windows 7.

Any software suggestions is appreciated thanks! (And please don't comment "just do a fresh install")

Thank you! EaseUS seems to be what I'm looking for. The other two requires to boot into Linux so kind of a hassle.

Hey crystal6tak,

What HDD do you have? Acronis True Image works great and it has a free edition for each manufacturer (such as Acronis True Image WD edition for Western Digital drives, but you have to have at least one of the drives to be of that brand).

It was a Hitachi drive. Thanks for your suggestion though!

I ended up using clonezilla as EaseUS couldn't detect the HDD containing OSX for some reason. Everything worked out fine though. Successfully cloned an HDD containing OSX to an 840 Evo with clonezilla.
