make sure you have two 4GB sticks of ram, not one 8GB stick as you want dual channel operation

also I would advise picking up an SSD. the 840 evo or 850 evo if you can afford it are good options, 120gb is enough and 250gb is plenty to stretch your legs if you have a HDD for mass storage.

edit: k70 RGB will have a steep learning curve to make it do anything more light up your color of choice, if you are not willing to invest the time, I wouldn't call it worth the investment.

I personally don't even use my keyboard backlights anymore since I learned to type without looking at the keyboard, although it does look cooler from across the room.

welcome to the forum!

The parts are compatible and you shouldn't have any issue running most games maxed out at 1080p.

There's no point getting a K series cpu or z97 chipset motherboard if you're not going to oc though.

I'd suggest getting a ssd if you don't have one already. Are you planning to sli?

Hello rizky.mohammed and welcome to Linus Tech Tips forum :)

This build is compatible and it should work fine, but there are a couple of things you can optimize.
As @WoodenMarker suggested, there is no point in getting a Z97 motherboard and the k-version of the 4690 as they are for overclocking (Z97 is also for multiple GPUs). I would suggest dropping to a non-k 4690 and to a H97 motherboard.
Also make sure you get 2x4GB of memory instead of a single 8GB stick in order to make a better use of the dual-channel support of the motherboard.
WD Black is a great drive designed for performance and is a great choice. However, you could consider getting a SSD which will decrease all your loading times and make your system much more responsive. Games rely on storage only for their loading times and FPS and graphics stay unaffected (only a few games require faster storage in order to load huge texture files while in-game). You could combine a SSD with that WD Black or, if your budget is limited, simply use WD Blue which is also a great everyday drive that can handle gaming (here's a link: http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=770).
If you don't need the optical drive, you can drop it and save some money.

Happy Holidays!

The psu is overkill if you're not planning to sli. A decent 500w is already plenty.

Where are you shopping/located? Budget?

People keep "suggesting" here that you should "consider" an SSD.

Don't listen to them, listen to me. You NEED to get one. especially with a budget such as yours, an SSD is an absolute must. You will literally be kicking yourself in the head if you go with just a hard drive, An SSD will make your computer the most responsive computer you have ever seen. It doesn't have to be big and it doesn't have to be expensive. A simple 256GB MX100 will do just fine for any system. Samsung's 850 Pro comes at a huge price premium for a characteristic that is wasted on the SATA bus.
