I just found out that Silverstone SG13 is now available in Hong Kong. Firstly shown in Computex 2014, I believe, it is narrower, shorter, bit a little bit deeper than Coolermaster's Elite 110. Measured by 222mm(W) x 181mm(H)x 285mm (D), it has an internal capacity of 11.5 liters. (In comparison the RVZ01 and Elite 110 are 14 liters, and the SG06 is 11.1 liters in volume)

The official product page of SG13 is not yet out, but the product page on the dealership's website is out. It is small, but it support 10.5" long graphics card, so graphics card like reference GTX 980 or R9 270X is supported. It also support ATX power supply, and there is a 120/140mm fan slot on the front, which you can also mount a radiator.

Like some of the cases Silverstone released recently, it has limitation on the length of psu. The length of psu is limited to 150mm, which I believe only a few psus from Silverstone are that short in length. And it has fewer hdd support than the Elite 110. You can only install 1 3.5" hdd and 1 2.5" hdds, or 3 2.5" hdds. Also the cpu cooler has a limited height of 61mm.

The case is now available in Hong Kong for HKD $399, which is around $52.

I believe the case has not yet been officially announced, so there is no official information on pricing and release date of this case in other countries, and pricing in Hong Kong doesn't reflect pricing in the States, or in other countries.

*update: SilverStone Hong Kong posted some promotional materials of this case on their FB page. According to those materials, there are 2 versions of this case, which the only difference is on the front panel. The one I shown above is called SST-SG13B, which has a mesh front panel with filter built-in. Of course the filter is removable. The other one, called SST-SG13B-Q, which has a aluminium-like plastic front panel, and the air should vent through the hole on the side of the front panel. (These promotional materials are in Chinese, sorry.)

I think some of these cases are going past the point where cooling can adiquetly handle the constricted airflow...

It looks like the only way to cool that thing would be to buy a deep freezer to keep it in.

Very, very interested in this case. Pretty much exactly what I'd want for a SFF build.

I just hope the don't charge an arm and a leg for it!

Nah it's not that bad, especially with newer cards putting out less heat. A rear blower style card, with a water cooled CPU, and this system would generate little heat within the case.

according to the promotion materials posted on SilverStone HK Facebook page, there is a filter built in to the mesh panel (the one I shown above), which you can remove it...

Silverstone has made very nice cases for a long time... this case and the other two new ones are entry level crap and i'm disappointed they made them.

  • 2 weeks later...

The Sugo SG13 will ship in February for a friendly $39.99

PERFECT! This case is exactly what I need for my little Steam box build and it's not even expensive! Can't wait for this to become available. The cable management will be a pain though...
