Sometimes I get bored, so I decided to make a PC build with a black and blue colour scheme (Because it's a sexy combination). I'm in Canada and I don't really have a set budget since this is only my dream PC. I live in Canada and I want to use this PC for video editing, after effects work, 3d rendering and gaming. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

- No aftermarket CPU cooler

- H97 and a 4790k is a big nono

- Overpriced to balls PSU

- A single 970 cannot do 144 fps on 1440p in 99% of the cases

RIG: I7-4790k @ 4.5GHz | MSI Z97S SLI Plus | 12GB Geil Dragon RAM 1333MHz | Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970 (1550MHz core/7800MHz memory) @ +18mV(Maxed out at 1650/7800 so far) | Corsair RM750 | Samsung 840 EVO 120GB, 1TB Seagate Barracuda | Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 (Closed) | Sound Blaster Z                                                                                                                        Getting: Noctua NH-D15 | Possible 250GB Samsung 850 Evo                                                                                        Need a console killer that actually shits on every console? Here you go (No MIR/Promo)

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

The custom (other) part is the CPU cooler.

Would you mind making some changes if you have the time? I still want to retain the black/blue colour scheme.

Ovepriced? 149$ for a PSU is totally fair, especially that one. Now go ahead and purchase an Evga SuperNova 1600 T2 for 448$ and thats overpriced.

Not really. The AX1500i is its only competitor and that one is 400.

Look at the EVGA G2 750W. That is a good price for a 750W PSU

xD the 20$ war for consumer purchases as fast as possible. Also the Evga brand seems to take the lead on videogamers choice. To be honest when it comes to wasting 200$+ on a PSU i would always choose Corsair :D.

$20 war? How about half price war with MIR, $100 without MIR
