I am deciding between the Asus Strix or the EVGA ACX 2.0 970. Now the thing with EVGA is that they sell 3 differents 970 with different clockspeed, am I better off getting the cheaper one and overclocking it or pick the priciest one because it wouls techniquely have a better bining? Also the Asus one is really tempting because it only require 1 8pins to power the card, witch would make it easier for future SLI. (My OCZ 700w PSU only have 2 8pins PCIE power connector)

Witch one would be the best between these card? Noise is not really a concern as my case is already filled with corsair fan. THANKS!

The Strix & ACX cards aren't binned, the only 970 to my knowledge that is binned right now is the Gigabyte G1.

I'd say get the strix since you mentioned it'd be easier to get a second one down the road.

Yeah seems nice, but I am not a fan of the non platted copper pieces on the cooler :(

I think I will go for the strix :P, It is at 410$ in canada, not bad if you ask me.

Comfirmed, Asus strix and a shield portable are on the way! The shield is actually the main reason I switched to the green team.

Thanks a lot guys!

Maybe go with priciest evga one, each different EVGA 970 includes a different version of the ACX 2.0 cooler. The priciest one has the best.
