I know that most people will or do use graphic cards with 2 of 1 kind of port whether it's hdmi or dvi, but is it possible to still have dual monitors if your cards only has one of each or is there another way to do dual monitors? I've been wanting to get a second monitor for a while now but I don't know if it's ok to use both ports at the same time. The card I am using atm is a GTX 750 Ti standard so it has one hdmi, dvi, and vga but I've been told it's bad to use 2 diferent ports on the same card. Now I am new to computer science and all so I don't know if that's true or not, but if anyone one else knows another way to hook up two monitors without having to upgrade your card that would be awesome.

No, it is completely fine to use different ports on a single card. Thats what most people do for multi monitors.

You absolutely can use the different ports. You can use all the ports at once if you wish. Nothing wrong/bad about it. You run multiple monitors by using the different ports.

Never say it's not broken. Everything is broken. Why? Because everything needs MOAR POWA!
