I'm gonna use OS 8.1 what type of SSD should I get and instal the OS on the SSD and what's all the SSD for and how much SSD do I need? Sorry new like I said lol tell me some about the HDD and the SSD TY!!!!!!

The OS doesnt matter. Id say a 250GB Samsung 840 EVO will do just fine. 1TB HDD also.

depends on your budget.  there are lots of 500GB class (480-512) SSD's that are pretty affordable (150ish) right now.  this way you can install you OS and lots of games on the SSD and have the HDD for regular storage.  or if you're a little tight on cash, the 500GB ssd will hold you over for regular storage till you get the money for the HDD

When it comes to gaming, storage is important as far as loading times go. FPS and graphics are not affected and only a few games are storage-intensive since they need to load huge texture files while in-game. OS also doesn't matter for the storage. I would say any 250GB SSD or larger would be great as they all work great for boot drives and you'd have enough space for the more demanding games. 

Same goes for HDD. It depends on what you are going to use it for and how much storage space you are looking for. For up to 1TB I would say WD Blue is a great drive that would handle games well as well as storage and everyday computing. For larger capacities I would suggest either WD Black or WD Green, depending if you need performance or secondary storage. Here are links to these three drives if you'd like to check them out:

Get a 128gb MX100 or 256gb if you gonna install all programs in that. 840 evo is good too!

And also WD Black for performance oriented.

WD Green just for storage.

WD Blue for normal use. But blues are limited to 1tb size.

The OS does matter to a degree. It needs proper TRIM Support.

For the OS alone, 32GB would be fine but I'd say get at least a 120GB.  I'm organized as balls so I need to have one SSD for my OS and crucial programs and another SSD for all my documents and files and important games.   Then I have a harddrive for larger games and virtual machines.
