Audio increases on it's own?

I have an Asus N56JR running Windows 8.1

I have not recently installed any sound programs and all of a sudden the volume starts increasing on it's own.  The volume slider in the top left corner pops up time to time and increases the volume each time by 2's and stops at 100 but still pops up.

The laptop uses a RealTek HD Audio system, what can I do to stop the system changing the volume on it's own?  It's getting really annoying, thanks.

Are you using up-to-date audio drivers?

No, I just don't know what I did to cause this issue to happen.

First thing I would try is updating your audio drivers.

Install the newest keyboard drivers/hotkey drivers.

Your keyboard may be broken, and it is thinking you are turning up the volume.

So I'll provide a more detailed explanation:

It's all random.  No certain key triggers the audio issue and the volume area in the top left stays there all the time.  If I try to lower the volume, it slides back up and I can't do anything about it.  All drivers are running fine and no issues are detected on a scan.  I can't even unmute the speakers.

Didn't work

Install the newest keyboard drivers/hotkey drivers.

That might be it, how do I install the drivers?  I tried going to the Asus support page for the drivers and when I downloaded and tried to install I got an error saying that the driver was already installed.

I was going to question physical volume controls as well.

How do I fix this issue?

Edit: http://gyazo.com/fcf63045eebb635eac2cfcc86f64f4d0 is what it is doing

What kind of programs are running in the taskbar? Usually there's something pre-installed, and it turning it off might stop the issue. Otherwise, the only options are either open the laptop up and disabling whatever buttons control volume, or RMA the laptop.
