Money says they're helping like 40 people at once. Any support people I deal with have the reaction time of an old woman and never use more than 4 words in a sentence.

the thing is they have to translate stuff.... the call center hires people who have studied in regional language since they don't have to pay them well and they use all kind of translators.... mostly high school dropouts ... 

Why not just take the time and money to use native speakers? Most call centers I've dealt with were from my language group. If I called at 11 am I got another American or Canadian. I call at 3 am I get an Aussie or Brit.

That explains a lot. I think that it's mainly the language barrier rather than the lack of knowledge. But it could be one or another/both so yeah.
