hi guys

 

here is my problem

 

i ocd my cpu, booted in fine, done IBT on very high for about 10mins

today i boot up pc, doesnt post, so i turned it off and on and it said american megatrends blah blah over clocking failed! f1 to setup

is there anyway i can stop my pc from stop not posting, its been happening for a while now but out of the blue not from ocing.

Its either stable or unstable, there is no in-between.

 

Sounds to me like its not very stable.

Make sure the voltage is high enough and cooling is good enough, then test the hell out of it.

im pretty sure its not to do with the oc as the non post thing happens freqeuntly, is there any setups you know of to help?

Still, make sure that cooling's good enough.

On another note, have you tried wiping the BIOS?

oh hahhahah.

Unplug all powercables, ground yourself and remove the battery (penny sized, chrome coloured) for 30s, place the battery in.

do you have to take the cables out?

The powercable connected to your powersupply, yes.

Remove also the monitor cable.

oh i thought you meant the whole cables in the pc, ok i will try later

remove your gpu, it´s not that hard <.<

Ground yourself with touching grounded objects (metal door frame... etc) don´t work on a carpet.

Cable from the powersupply are plug n play with a unique design so you can´t misplace it.

can you use the cmos jumper instead
