LTT Minecraft Server

So, this is my idea:

Creating an LTT Minecraft server. Something around the realms of Raiding and PvP. 

I've been looking at some American hosts, and the decidicated hosting comes to around $120 a month on a small 4GB pentium machine.

I need to know if anyone will actually play.

why don't you buy a used machine and host in on that? you could buy a really nice i5 and 16 GBs

We are a big community, but each user has different taste when it comes to games. Personally I like Minecraft, but I run mine with over 150 mods, and I wouldn't consider playing with less than that. I'm 100% sure that if there were a LTT Minecraft server it would feel pretty vanilla to me.

I probably didn't make my sentence clear enough, sorry. I mean, I have $120 a month if it was needed. I am going to invest the correct amount based on what is needed.

I don't really expect this thing to last, but if it does, great.

eh, when it comes to minecraft, it needs to be tekkit or something similar for me.

Personally I would only play on it if I had a good connection any rubber banding or block lag and I don't bother on the server.

NCIX considered this at one point.  Having a decent, safe, secure network is the largest problem to getting a public server for the community going.
