Powesedor (Pedro Pereira)

Hi guys, so I'm planning to build my first gaming/editing pc and I spent all my budget on the core components wich are :

CORE COMPONENTS

CPU 294,90€ - Intel Core I7-4770K

Motherboard 91,90€ - MSI Z97 PC Mate Intel Z97 SK1150

Graphics Card 362,90€ - Gigabyte GTX970 WindForce OC 4GB GDDR5 PCI-E

Storage HD 51,90€ - Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATAIII 64MB (6GB/S)

SSD 71,90€ - Crucial MX100 2.5 Sata III 128GB

RAM 77,90€ - G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 2x4GB 1600MHz

Power Supply 58,50€ - XFX TS 550W 80 PLUS BRONZE

Case 48,90€  -Cooler Master N400

But still I wanted to OC the i7-4770k to about 4.2Ghz, what is the best (and cheaper) cooler that can hold that OC at decent thermals ?

Well, this might be a smidge out of your price range, but the NH-D14 an amazing cooler for $75: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608018

the h60 from corsair might not be a bad option either

if you need a cheap cooler, the be quiet pure rock is a solid foundation to start with. If you want to spend more, the be quiet dark rock 3 or noctua nh-u12/14s is a great choice for cooling with low noise levels and low temperatures.

D14 will be problematic with RAM. D15 would be better but it will be tight in that case, same with U14S which would be completely compatible with RAM. Dark Rock 3 could be the one since it fits in case and you can fit RAM under it.
