This a build you just put together, or have purchased?

Either way, should've gone for the i5 4690k over the FX8350. Also, should've got a high end air cooler like a Noctua NH-D14 / NH-D15. A 250/256GB SSD would be nice, something like an MX100 or 840 EVO. And that case is fugly, imo.

I'll give ya three fiddy.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

Purchased. Was going to go for the i5, but was over budget.

2/10 It has an amd cpu, a bad aio, overpriced ram, a bad motherboard, a gpu with a mediocre cooler, and ugly case, and no ssd.

Wow, the first time i didn't get bashed for saying my opinion on this forum :)

I also made some mistakes, like everyone else (X99 UD5).

I generally don't bash people for there opinions

More experience to pass on you are shaping up to be very wise in the part selection :D

1/10. That MoBo will struggle to overclock that 8-core FX power demanding monster. The build just flat out won't work well.

In addition, the CPU will bottleneck that GPU in any task that requires reasonable single-threaded performance. Also that's an overpriced Aio for just a single fan rad, over-wattage PSU for the system, I already mentioned the MoBo that just flat out is insufficient in power delivery.

Basically, the GPU is fine, I can't comment on the case because that's personal preference, and the HDD is standard, the memory should be fine as long as its not overpriced, and every other part is a bad choice.

wrong, find me ONE real life scenario where the FX 8 core will bottle neck the gpu.

Ignore all the others, just because you didnt spend £2000 doesnt mean it isnt nice. Im sure this rig will do everything you need it to, so enjoy. Only improvement is an SSD however that can be added later. Looks are up to you as its personal preference.

Intel i7 4770k @4.5ghz, Asus Maximus VI Formula, Asus Geforce GTX 780, Corsair h100i, Corsair Neutron GTX 240gb, WD Black 1tb, Corsair 750D, Corsair AX860i w/ Sleeved Cables.

I rarely leave the build logs section.

Thanks a lot man. Most positive comment in the whole thread. I'm looking to get an SSD after Christmas, but thanks for the advice.
