CPU Running Slow

Go to solution Solved by JakeD,

I fixed it now, thanks for the help guys.

Hey guys, I have an i7-3820 3.6 GHz but for some reason its currently running at 1.19 GHz and I don't know why. I fucked around in the bios to turn off any eco/power saving options and its still running at 1.19 GHz. Anybody have any ideas? I left a CPU-Z screenshot so you can have a look.

Its because you're not using it much. It downlocks at idle to save evergy and produce less heat.

When you put it under load it will go to 3.6GHz.

Aren't core clock calculated by multiplying the core speed and multiplier and then dividing it by the number of cores?
