He is a total AMD fanboy and will NOT have anything nvidia or intel in his PC

Oh christ, what is his reasoning for this? -.-

Took away SSD to get a much better GPU, namely the R9 280 which will shit on the R7 260X. If he can spend 20-40 more he can add a 120GB SSD

Squeezed in an 8320 and a 290. He should be pretty content with that. Had to cheap out on the cooler and RAM though. I fitted a 990fx board so he CAN overclock. So just tell him to get something like a hyper 212 and more RAM in the future. Also, why no intel? 8320 will bottleneck the 290 in some games. Make sure he knows that.

Could go slightly more cheapo on the case and get a R9 280 in there for just a bit over budget. But still this is way better than an X4.

I'd rather have a g3258, does your friend need all dem threads of the athlon? For the graphic card R9 280 or the 270 will do go depending on your budget chose one, but the r9 280 is a good choice if you can snag it.

Dual Graphics mode or whatever, I recall that the R7  250X and 260X can not do that with the on die GPU. Though that XFX 4GB R7 250 has DDR3 rather than GDDR5 so ehhh...

Your friend needs to be converted to the Intel+Nvidia religion.

Ehm if everyone stopped buying AMD, Intel and Nvidia would cost more and start to not make as good products anymore because of no competition. I mean in my future build I'm going to use Intel/Nvidia but that's for content creation and some gaming. All I have to say is be careful what you wish for.

The r7 250 isn't a good choice even in crossfire, I'd rather spend a cheaper processor and a better graphic card alone like the r9 270
